Producer

Your role will report direct­ly into the Lead Pro­duc­er with­in a high­ly col­lab­o­ra­tive team of pro­duc­ers, design­ers and edi­tors.

You will work across a range of cre­ative video and design projects, includ­ing ani­mat­ed pod­cast trails, reac­tive video, and bespoke sta­t­ic designs. This is a client-fac­ing role that sits across the entire pro­duc­tion process, from ini­tial brief­ing through to final deliv­ery — you will be in fre­quent com­mu­ni­ca­tion with the client through­out each brief, as well as respon­si­ble for reg­u­lar report­ing on the wider pro­duc­tion slate.

As part of this role, you will sup­port in-stu­­dio shoots for BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4, and have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to devel­op your video pro­duc­tion and edit­ing skills. You will also be involved in cre­ative brain­storms and ideation across the account for cam­paigns and com­plex projects.

The ide­al Pro­duc­er will be cre­ative and ambi­tious, ready to bring ener­gy and new ideas to an impor­tant account. You will have a deep under­stand­ing of and pas­sion for social media and enter­tain­ment, enjoy work­ing as part of a team, and be com­fort­able work­ing to both short- and long-term dead­lines.

~Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties~

- Work­ing with­in the BBC team to pro­duce best-in-class social video and design con­tent on a dai­ly basis

- Fre­quent com­mu­ni­ca­tion with the client to through all stages of the pro­duc­tion process

- Gen­er­at­ing new ideas for client briefs and cam­paigns

- Sup­port video shoots for BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4

~Expe­ri­ence~

- High lev­el of atten­tion to detail, organ­i­sa­tion, and time man­age­ment is essen­tial

- Demon­stra­ble under­stand­ing of the social media land­scape and pop cul­ture

- Good knowl­edge of Pre­miere Pro is essen­tial — knowl­edge of oth­er parts of Adobe Cre­ative Suite (Photoshop/After Effects) is desired but not required

- Keen edi­to­r­i­al eye and cre­ative flare

- Strong writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills

This is a fixed term con­tract start­ing in June 2025 until April 2026 with an oppor­tu­ni­ty to go full-time. It is a hybrid role with 3 days in our Lon­don office and 2 days work­ing from home.

Salary: An equiv­a­lent annu­al salary of £30–35k per year, depen­dent on expe­ri­ence. This will be pro-rata’d for the length of the con­tract.
