Your role will report directly into the Lead Producer within a highly collaborative team of producers, designers and editors.
You will work across a range of creative video and design projects, including animated podcast trails, reactive video, and bespoke static designs. This is a client-facing role that sits across the entire production process, from initial briefing through to final delivery — you will be in frequent communication with the client throughout each brief, as well as responsible for regular reporting on the wider production slate.
As part of this role, you will support in-studio shoots for BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4, and have the opportunity to develop your video production and editing skills. You will also be involved in creative brainstorms and ideation across the account for campaigns and complex projects.
The ideal Producer will be creative and ambitious, ready to bring energy and new ideas to an important account. You will have a deep understanding of and passion for social media and entertainment, enjoy working as part of a team, and be comfortable working to both short- and long-term deadlines.
~Key Responsibilities~
- Working within the BBC team to produce best-in-class social video and design content on a daily basis
- Frequent communication with the client to through all stages of the production process
- Generating new ideas for client briefs and campaigns
- Support video shoots for BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4
~Experience~
- High level of attention to detail, organisation, and time management is essential
- Demonstrable understanding of the social media landscape and pop culture
- Good knowledge of Premiere Pro is essential — knowledge of other parts of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/After Effects) is desired but not required
- Keen editorial eye and creative flare
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
This is a fixed term contract starting in June 2025 until April 2026 with an opportunity to go full-time. It is a hybrid role with 3 days in our London office and 2 days working from home.
Salary: An equivalent annual salary of £30–35k per year, dependent on experience. This will be pro-rata’d for the length of the contract.
